I haven't even signed on in close to a year or so.  It's been three since I've updated my journal.  Anyways, I will start posting things again.  I can't believe I've been using DA for nearly 10 years.  

The girlfriend I've mentioned in previous journals.. I've broken up with her.  It was on mutual terms. We're still great friends now.  I now have a job at a plastics plant handling the CAD data for mold shops.

Today I turn 27.  I can't believe that I'm only 3 years away from 30,  I still feel like I'm 20-23 years old, but time seems so unreal.  I won't let it get to me.  It's only another year and there's plenty of them to go around.  I'm still with my girlfriend after 4 years of dating, I have a good social life, but I'm still unable to secure a stable job.

Yep, she joined the DA community a few days ago, and she's quite a talented photographer. Say hi to her if you feel like it.  In the meanwhile, I'm sorta busy with class work from my Physics and Engineering classes. I've been unable to get into Solidworks on my computer due to slowness and viruses, but fixed that problem (yay Avira Antivirus)

Last week was probably as hectic as can get with events and stuff. The previous week, my uncle, (who is a pastor by the way) fell off a ladder and went brain-dead from the impact. They pulled the plug and his funeral was Tuesday (visitation) and Wednesday (the actual funeral) The day after was Thanksgiving of course, which I spent with my girlfriend and her side of the family.  Her cousin was wed the next day and it was good.  How's that for a week?  

RIP Uncle Ken, you were a good man... May God welcome you to Heaven with open arms.


  In other news, life's been pretty average; Working at Blockbuster (been there since Christmas time last year), seeing my girl every week, helping my dad with construction projects. I was in a band with my cousin, playing bass/keyboard and getting pretty good at it then the band fell apart after a few months... go figure.  I'm gonna go for the gold with my college degree and pursue a Bachelor's/Masters in Automotive Engineering, specializing in alternative energy sources.  I'll post up some of my Solidworks projects for all to enjoy.  I know I'm rarely doing anything here, but it's nice to have some place where I can post up my creations and have them be viewed by people across the world.
